TASK BRIEFING:

Unit 1 was evacuated due to fire and damage.

The Unit Supervisor directs you to establish RCS makeup flow from Unit 2.

You are to accomplish this evolution by performing 1-OHP 4025.LS-6-1 , RCS Makeup with CVCS Cross-Tie, steps 3-7.

A Security Event is NOT in progress 1-OHP 4025.LS-6-1 Step 2, De-energize BIT injection valve motors, has been completed.

Notify the control room when steps 3-7 are complete.

JPM OVERVIEW BIT injection is established from the opposite unit using RCS makeup with CVCS Cross-Tie.

GENERAL STANDARDS/PRECAUTIONS Cross-Tie is performed in accordance with expectations for procedure use and adherence.

1. Valve full travel should be acknowledged by stating Resistance is felt in that direction.
2. Discharge header crosstie valve position may be determined by observing the sliding pointer on the yoke of the valve. When the pointer is down at the bonnet, the valve is closed Cue: Control room acknowledges that you are performing RCS Make-Up with CVCS Cross-Tie.
