UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO - MISSING INFORMATION REGARDING APPLICATION FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (TAC NO. MF5583)

Dear Dr. Busch:

The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has received an application from the University of New Mexico for the AGN-210M Research Reactor (UNM) requesting an amendment to Technical Specifications (TS) for the Operating License No. R-102 dated December 15, 2014 (Agency wide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS)

Accession No. ML14364A155).

During the NRC staff preliminary review, we have identified that you are missing information from the application for an amendment to the TS of Operating License No. R-102. According to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50, Section 30(b) Oath or affirmation:

Each application for a standard design approval or license, including, whenever appropriate, a construction permit or early site permit, or amendment of it, and each amendment of each application must be executed in a signed original by the applicant or duly authorized officer thereof under oath or affirmation.

Additional information on oath and affirmation can be found in NRC Regulatory Information Summary (RIS) 2001-018 at the NRC website: http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/gen-comm/reg-issues/.

In order for the NRC staff to continue the licensing amendment review, an oath and affirmation to cover the indicated document must be received within 30 days of the date of this letter.
