By letter dated December 22, 2011 (Reference 1), the NRC issued Amendment No. 140 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-69 for Nine Mile Point Unit 2 (NMP2). The amendment authorized an increase in the maximum steady-state reactor core power level for NMP2 to 3,988 megawatts thermal (MWt). By letter dated July 28, 2014 (Reference 2), Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station (NMPNS) provided the steam dryer inspection results in accordance with NMP2 Operating License Condition 2.C.(20)(f) and 2.C.(20)(g) associated with the issuance of Amendment No. 140. NMPNS responded to the request for additional information (RAI) documented in an email from B. Vaidya (NRC) to T. Darling (NMPNS) dated August 13, 2014 (Reference 3) by letter dated October 3, 2014 (Reference 4).

Reference 4 included Continuum Dynamics Inc. (CDI) documents requested by the NRC in Reference 3. Following submittal of Reference 4, the NRC notified NMPNS that the CD-ROMs C)o /

U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission January 14, 2015 Page 2 containing both proprietary and nonproprietary Continuum Dynamics Inc. (CDI) document could not be processed by the Document Control Desk. Exelon resubmitted CD-ROMs containing this information and again received notification that the CD-ROMs could not be processed.

Attachments 1 through 3 of this letter contain nonproprietary versions of CDI Report Nos.14-04P, 14-08P, and 14-09P respectively. These attachments are provided in hard copy and are intended to replace the CD-ROM included as Attachment 3 of Reference 4.

Attachments 6 through 8 of this letter contain proprietary versions of CDI Report Nos.14-04P, 14-08P, and 14-09P respectively. These attachments are provided in hard copy and are intended to replace the CD-ROM included as Attachment 5 of Reference 4. of Reference 4 contained affidavits to withhold Continuum Dynamics Inc. (CDI) proprietary information contained in Report Nos.14-04P, 14-08P,14-09P, and Nonconformance Report No. 0343. Following submittal of Reference 4 and discussion with the NRC Project Manager, NMPNS agreed to provide updated affidavits to make administrative changes to clarify the information to be withheld from disclosure. Attachment 5 to this letter contains revised Affidavits to withhold Continuum Dynamics Inc. (CDI) proprietary information and is intended to replace Attachment 4 of Reference 4. of Reference 4 contained proprietary CDI Nonconformance Report No. 0343. A nonproprietary version of the document was not available and was not included with Reference

4. Following discussion with the NRC, the document was reviewed and Attachment 9 to this letter contains a proprietary version of CDI Nonconformance Report No. 0343 with the appropriate information marked as proprietary. Attachment 9 to this letter is intended to replace of Reference 4. In addition, a nonproprietary version of CDI Nonconformance Report No. 0343 has been created and included as Attachment 4 to this letter.

There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
