Thank you for your letter of February 5, 1980, informing us of steps you have taken

to correct the item of deviation concerning activities under NRC Operating License

No. DPR-23 brought to your attention in our letter of January .21, 1980. As

outlined during the telephone discussion of March 5, 1980 between R. B. Starkey, Jr.

of your staff and W. H. Miller, Jr. of this office, your comments on the

January 21, 1980 Notice of Deviation have been forwarded to our Office of Nuclear

Reactor Regulation for further evaluation. This item will be reexamined upon

completion of the evaluation.
