Supplement to Amendment Application No. 153 Docket No. 50-206 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By letter dated July 19, 1988 SCE provided information in support of the NRC's review of Amendment Application No. 153. Specifically, this information addressed overload conditions associated with the feedwater and charging pump motors during post-accident conditions. Provided as an enclosure to this letter is an evaluation prepared by Westinghouse Electric Corporation which addresses the effect of overload operation of the charging pump motors. The conclusion of this evaluation is that these motors will perform satisfactorily under accident conditions.
