ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 132 TO PROVISIONAL OPERATING LICENSE SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT NO. 1 (TAC NO. 76808)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 132 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1, in response to your application dated May 16, 1990, as supplemented by letter dated June 4, 1990.
The amendment provides NRC approval of your proposed revision of the spent fuel pool cooling system decay heat removal requirements described in Section 9.1.3 of the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR).
No changes to the Technical Specifications or License Conditions are required as a result of this amendment.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular biweekly Federal Register notice.
