ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT-NO. 103 TO PROVISIONAL OPERATING LICENSE SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT NO. 1 (TAG NO. 65271)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 103 to Provisional Operating L
'icense No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1. The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated April 28, 1987.
The amendment requires all three rea ctor coolant pumps to be in operation when the reactor trip breakers are closed in Mode 3 (hot standby).
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular biweekly Federal Register notice.
