Closing Indian Point

Dear NRC.Gov:

As 25 year residents in Putnam Valley and just at the 10 mile radius around Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, we are deeply concerned about the "accidents"that have occurred over the years.

The unintentional release of steam and water that is contaminated and the fact that we are down wind from this contamination that has never been clinically monitored as to the high incidents of cancers in the population. Add to this, the fact that the plant was built on fault line. My husband and I feel that we are living near a ticking time bomb and do not have faith that Entergy or any other operator will be able to protect us and the millions of people in our area from a potential catastrophe, whether natural or accidental.

Please shut down this plant.
