SUBJECT:
REFERRING REQUEST FOR HEARING AND PETITION TO INTERVENE WITH RESPECT TO THE LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION; DOCKETING AND OPPORTUNITY FOR HEARING AND PETITION FOR LEAVE TO INTERVENE REGARDING THE UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY, CALLAWAY PLANT, UNIT 1, DOCKET NO. 50-483 The Office of the Secretary received a request for hearing and petition to intervene from the Missouri Coalition for the Environment (MCE) on April 24, 2012, via E-Filing. The hearing request and petition to intervene was submitted in response to the NRC Staff Notice of Opportunity for Hearing Regarding Renewal of Facility Operating License for an additional 20-year period, for the Union Electric Company, Callaway Plant, Unit 1, Docket No. 50-483.
The Notice of Opportunity for Hearing was published in the Federal Register at 77 Fed. Reg. 11,173 on February 24,2012.
The hearing request and supporting documents are located in ADAMS and in the EHD. They are as follows: request for hearing and petition for leave to intervene as accession number (ML12115A371), Attachment 1: declarations of Ruth L. Schaefer (Exhibit 1A), Mary A.
