Upon consideration of the July 24 response of applicant Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri (Ameren) to the Licensing Boards July 24 request to show cause in which Ameren requests an extension of time to respond to petitioner Missouri Coalition for the Environments (MCE) July 9, 2012 motion seeking the admission of a new contention concerning the temporary storage and ultimate disposal of nuclear waste, see Amerens Response to Request to Show Cause and Amerens Unopposed Motion for Extension (July 24, 2012) at 3; see also Licensing Board Memorandum and Order (Request to Show Cause as to Why New Contention Motion Should Not Be Deemed Conceded/Unopposed) (July 24, 2012)
(unpublished), and there being no opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED, that Amerens July 24, 2012 time extension request is granted in that the answers of Ameren and the NRC staff to MCEs July 9 new contention admission motion shall be filed on or before Friday, August 3, 2012.
