Department of Nuclear & Radiological Engineering PO Box 118300 UFTR Nuclear Facilities Gainesville, FL 32611-8300 352-392-1401 352-392-3380 Fax www.nre.ufl.edu December 7, 2011 Document Control Desk Significant Change in U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Facility Administration Washington, DC 20555 Re: Facility License R-56, Docket Number 50-83 As required by our Technical Specifications, Section 6.6.3, Paragraph (1), we are reporting a significant change in our facility organization at Level 2 which is the level responsible for the reactor facility management at the University of Florida Training Reactor (UFTR). Dr. David Hintenlang has filled the Level 2 position, Interim Director of Nuclear Facilities, since June 2010.

Effective November 18, 2011 Dr. Kelly Jordan is appointed Director of Nuclear Facilities, directing the educational and research mission of the facility and will be in charge of the administration of the facility as well. Dr. David Hintenlang will maintain the Level 1 position as Interim Chair of the Nuclear & Radiological Engineering Department at the University of Florida.
