Please find attached the revised proposed UFTR security procedure SOP-F. 10, Background Investigations. The attached revision incorporates changes necessary to implement the new requirements of 10 CFR 73.57. These changes include revision of Section 3 purpose statements, addition of two statements to Section 4, and addition of two references to Section

5. Please substitute the attached SOP-F. 10 document labeled Rev 2, 08/12 for the SOP-F. 10 document labeled Rev 2, 07/12 transmitted by letter dated July 26, 2012.

The attached proposed security procedure has been reviewed and approved by UFTR management and by Executive Committee of the Reactor Safety Review Subcommittee.
