Response to "Texas A&M University - Request for additional information regarding the Texas A&M University AGN-201 M reactor license renewal application (TAC. NO. ME1588), July 25, 2011" In response to the RAI dated July 25, 2011 an extension is requested to complete the RAI's concerning the AGN console upgrade. Currently the Reactor Safety Board is considering the questions requiring changes to the Technical Specifications. Once these responses have been reviewed and approved, they will be submitted to the NRC. I would like to request that an extension be granted for the questions concerning the control console upgrade to December 31, 2011.
There have been several technical difficulties capturing the data requested. Our staff continues to work towards resolving these problems in order to provide accurate responses to questions about changes to the control console.
