Dear Sir or Madam,
By letter dated July 22, 2010 (Reference) Southern California Edison submitted a license amendment request for approval of the Cyber Security Plan for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) in accordance with 10 CFR 73.54.
The purpose of this license amendment was to provide an Implementation Schedule, provide a table of SONGS deviations from NEI 08-09 Revision 6, and add a sentence to the existing Facilities Operating Licenses (FOL) license condition for Physical Security to require SCE to fully implement and maintain in effect all provisions of the Commission approved Cyber Security Plan.
By e-mail dated March 1, 2011, the NRC requested additional information through three generic questions developed by the NRC staff following discussions with the Nuclear Energy Institute and the industry Cyber Security Task Force. Responses to the NRC request for additional information are provided in the Enclosure to this letter.
