Calvert Cliffs Retake Exam: Operating Test Comments Sim 1: No comment.

Sim 2: 1) Fix initiating cue (perform or quantify).

2) Have the applicant quantify the RCS leak.
3) Provide range +/-S gpm for leak rate calculation.
4) Change to ask applicant for procedural recommendation at the end of AOP-2A Block Step E. (i.e., go to Block Step F). He'll decide to trip the reactor after determining that the leak is greater than the capacity of a charging pump.
5) Add cue to stop a second leak rate calculation.

Sim 3: Step #1 of the JPM is not critical (I.e., "verify").

Sim 4: No comment.

Sim 5: 1) Not a valid system JPM due to lack control manipulation. Replace.

2) No comment on replacement JPM.

8im 6: Have the applicant take the watch and then respond to the loss of the 120 VAC bus.

8im 7: Have the applicant take the watch and then respond to the PORV opening.

In-Plant 1:

In-Plant 3:

Make into an alternate path and have operator take action to complete step to ensure that one valve properly re-positions.

Admin 1:

1) Modify 8TP for proper sign offs.
2) Add "sections 6.2-6.4 have not been performed" to initial conditions.
3) Add "PIT not required" to initial conditions.

Admin 2:

Add values to JPM step 2.

Admin 3:

1) Add "8TP M-6S1C-1A not required" in initial conditions.
2) Change 4.0 to 4.0A in initiating cue.

Admin 4:

1) Ensure RWP is signed.
2) Use 30 cm dose rate instead of contact dose rate.
3) Remove question about definition of LHRA (direct look up)
4) Provide minimal list of PC's required for task.

Admin 5:

1) Administer with 8im JPM 2 (calculate RCS leakage) for efficiency.
2) Add to cue that this is a time critical JPM.
