In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, "Application for amendment of license or construction permit," AmerGen Energy Company, LLC (AmerGen) requested an amendment to the Technical Specifications for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI Unit 1) in the Reference 1 letter. As discussed in the Reference 1 letter, this change is consistent with the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) approved Industry Technical Specification Task Force Standard Technical Specification Change Traveler, TSTF-490-A, Revision 0, "Deletion of E Bar Definition and Revision to Reactor Coolant System Specific Activity Technical Specification Using the Consolidated Line Item Improvement Process" (Reference 2). In a
Supplemental Information to TMI Unit 1 License Amendment Request No. 326 December 11,2008 Page 2 of 2 conference call with the USNRC on December 3,2008, supplemental information was requested by the USNRC as part of the acceptance review of the TMI Unit 1 license amendment request. The conference call was followed up by the Reference 3 letter. In the Reference 3 letter, the USNRC requested that the following supplemental information be provided by December 18, 2008:

"A corrected reference for the methodology used to develop the proposed technical specification change."
2.
"A correct reference to the public version of the [USNRCrs Safety Evaluation for [TSTF-490-A, Revision 0]."
In accordance with this NRC request, AmerGen is providing the following information:

The correct reference for the methodology used to develop the proposed technical specification change (TMI Unit 1, LAR No. 326) was the USNRC staff Safety Evaluation dated March 8, 2007 (ML070250176).
2.
The correct reference to the public version of the NRC's Safety Evaluation for TSTF-490-A, Revision 0 is the USNRC staff Safety Evaluation dated March 8, 2007 (ML070250176).
