Effective September 1, 2008, Dr.
Biddy (Carolyn A.)
Martin has become the Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin at Madison (UW-Madison).
She replaces Dr.
John D. Wiley who has served as Chancellor for the past seven years.
Chancellor Martin comes to the UW-Madison after serving as Provost for Cornell University.
Her appointment was recommended by University of Wisconsin System President Kevin P. Reilly and was formally approved by the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents.
