MILLSTONE POWER STATION, UNIT NOS. 2 AND 3 - REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING CONTROL ROOM HABITIBILITY (TAC NOS. MD6115 AND MD6116)

Dear Mr. Christian:

By letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) dated July 13, 2007, Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (DNC) submitted the proposed amendment to modify the Technical Specification (TS) requirements related to control room envelope habitability consistent with NRC-approved Technical Specification Task Force Traveler (TSTF) -448, Control Room Habitability, revision 3. The NRC staff has reviewed the request submitted by DNC and has identified a need for additional information as set forth in the Enclosure.

On November 20, 2007, William Bartron, from your staff indicated that DNC understands the issues and plans to submit a response by December 7, 2007.
