REPORT FOR PLANT AGING MANAGEMENT REVIEWS AND PROGRAMS FOR THE JAMES A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT ON LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NO. MD2666)

Dear Mr. Kansler:

By letter dated July 31, 2006, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., (ENO) submitted an application pursuant to Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations Part 54 (10 CFR Part 54), to renew the operating license for James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant, for review by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). The NRC staff conducted an audit and review of the aging management reviews (AMRs), its associated aging management programs (AMPs) and time-limited aging analysis (TLAAs) for which ENO claimed consistency with the Generic Aging Lessons Learned Report and the Standard Review Plan for Renewal of License Renewal Application for Nuclear Power Plants (NUREG-1800, Rev. 1). The purpose of the audit and review was to determine the AMRs, AMPs, and TLAAs were in compliance with 10 CFR Part 54.

A summary report documenting the results of the audit and review is now publicly available.
