I forgot to request that your engineers to mark up the distances from the stack to all other safety related structures and equipment as stated in item (4) below. We have emphasized the need for this info and have repeated this request several times during phone calls in the past as in our past email.

Rick:

Please help and ask your engineers to reply to the item (2) below in writing. I will followup this email with a docketed RAI letter. Meantime you can send in your draft response to help the NRC reviewer to meet his schedule for providing me with his evaluation.

The cut off date for any new submittals from Entergy will be May 15, 2007 as will be so stated in the Draft SER. We will have OPEN items in the Draft SER if needed be.

The ACRS subcommittee's review for the FitzPatrick LRA has been proposed for Sept 5, 2007 thanks for your help tommy Gene:

Thank you very much for your VERY prompt responses.

(1) Attached is the RAI letter related to the latest BOP questions that the staff would need your reply soon if not sooner (2) The staff has the following comment regarding the JAFNPP's response to RAI 3.5.2-4 [Supplement letter 10]:

The response provided by JAFNPP is partial and that the staff needs more information. The information that the staff requested was:

"How is JAFNPP monitoring the vent pipe bellows? Has JAFNPP considered a TYPE B test ?"

The response provided by JAFNPP was partial [per letter JAFP-07-0053] and the staff needs more detail explanation about what JAFNPP has done so far for monitoring the vent pipe bellows( i.e, inspection intervals, methods of monitoring, when was inspected last etc...), The staff also understands that JAFNPP is inspecting per APP J and performing Type B leak rate test.

(3) Thus the staff will consider the issue in item (2) OPEN in the Draft SER until JAFNPP provides more information that the staff is looking for. If JAFNPP can provide timely a more detailed information [in draft form] to supplement the JAFNPP response regarding RAI 3.5.2-4, and have this info docketed in the next supplement letter; this may help.

(4) The pdf. drawing that was sent with your earlier email has no marked up as per the staff's discussion during the 3/5/07 phone call. Do the hard copies that were sent earlier have the marked up information?
