Dear Sir or Madam,
The referenced letter included a request by Southern California Edison (SCE) to change the Unit 2 Technical Specifications to relocate the RCS pressure-temperature curves and limits from the Technical Specifications to a licensee-controlled document identified as the PTLR. The request was identified as Proposed Change Number (PCN) 540. The letter also included two associated requests for exemption.
In discussions with the NRC staff, it was agreed that (1) the pressure-temperature curves needed to be revised and (2) the two exemptions were not required.
SCE is preparing revised pressure-temperature curves and is currently planning on submitting them by January 31, 2005. The revised curves will replace the referenced submittal in its entirety, and SCE, therefore, requests that the original submittal be withdrawn.
