LICENSING TOPICAL REPORT NEDO-33148, "SEPARATION OF LOSS OF OFFSITE POWER FROM LARGE BREAK LOCA" FOR REVIEW (TAC NO.
MC3042)
Dear Mr. Putnam:
By letter dated April 6, 2004, the BWROG submitted for NRC staff review Licensing Topical Report (LTR) NEDO-33148, "Separation of Loss of Offsite Power from Large Break LOCA".
The NRC staff has performed an acceptance review of LTR NEDO-33148. We have found that the material presented is sufficient to begin our comprehensive review. However, due to other rulemaking activities taking place concurrently, our review of the subject LTR will not begin until January 10, 2005. The staff expects to issue requests for additional information by March 10, 2005, and complete its review by August 2006, and estimates that the review will require approximately 1500 staff hours including project management time. The review schedule milestones and estimated review costs were discussed and agreed upon in a telephone conference between Mr. Tony Browning and the NRC staff on June 30, 2004.
In accordance with the letter dated June 7, 2004 (ADAMS Accession No. ML041600058), the fee branch has waived the Section 170.21 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations fees associated with this LTR review.
