1) Letter from U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) to Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP), "Assessment Followup Letter For The Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant And Deviation From The Reactor Oversight Process Action Matrix; NRC Letter ML15049A132," dated February 27, 2015 In the NRC's Assessment Followup Letter (Reference 1), the NRC staff notified Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation (NSPM), d/b/a Xcel Energy, that the NRC will deviate from the Action Matrix by placing Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP) in the Regulatory Response Column, Column 2, of the ROP Action Matrix in lieu of the Multiple/Repetitive Degraded Cornerstone Column, Column 4. As part of the Deviation the NRC also required NSPM to perform an independent safety culture assessment at the MNGP, with a focus on human performance. This letter is to inform the NRC staff that NSPM is requesting the NRC inspection of the independent safety culture assessment at the MNGP.

NSPM has completed the independent safety culture assessment and developed corrective actions to address the assessment findings.

Summary of Commitments This letter makes no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
