s RII Report Nos. 50-566/78-06 and 50-567/78-06 I-3 LWA-1 and LWA-2 issued February 3, 1978 and commitments in the PSA During the inspection, no deviations or items of noncompliance were disclosed within the areas inspecte . Site Preparation - Observation of Work and Work Activities, Units 1 and 2 The inspector examined ongoing work and results of work for excavation by blasting of Units 1 and 2 powerhouse blocks. Acceptance criteria examined by the inspector appear in sections 2.4 and 2.5 of the PSAR and TVA Tepical Report TR 75-1A, RI. Controlling procedures, specifica-tions and drawings examined by the inspector are: QCI 110. Excavation and Fill, Blasting Inspection and Monitoring N8C-882, RO, Earth and Rock Foundations and Fills SOP No. 4, Release for Blasting After Placement of Concrete S0P No. 5, Control of Blasting Materials Drawings 41T0500-Y1-1 and 41T0500-Y1-2, Units 1 and 2 Reactor, Fuel Control and Waste Management Buildings, Structural Excavation Observation of completed work and discussions with responsible engineers indicated blasting operations are being controlled in accordance with acceptance criteri No deviationc or items of noncompliance were disclose . Site Preparation - Review of Quality Records, Units 1 and 2 The inspector examined records on blast numbers 54, 55, 58, 59 and 63-66; the blast release monitoring log and geologic photographs; and maps on site preparation. Acceptance criteria examined by the inspectors included procedure QAP 5.3 and those listed in paragraph 5. Examination of blast records and geologic maps and photographs indicated site preparation activities are being accomplished in accordance with acceptance criteri No deviations or items of noncompliance were disclose .
