SUBJECT: CALLAWAY PLANT - SITE-SPECIFIC IMPLEMENTATION OF B.5.B PHASE 2 AND 3 MITIGATING STRATEGIES TEMPORARY INSTRUCTION INSPECTION (NRC INSPECTION REPORT 05000483/2008007)

Dear Mr. Naslund:

In a telephone conversation on June 26, 2008, Messrs. Kevin Bruckerhoff and John Kirkland made arrangements for the NRC to inspect the site-specific implementation of B.5.b Phase 2 and 3 mitigating strategies at the Callaway Plant. The inspection is planned for the week of July 28, 2008.

In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish the documents listed in Enclosure 1 to Mr. John Kirkland in electronic format no later than July 14, 2008. Please have available on site at the beginning of the inspection the arrangements and documents listed in Enclosure 2. Mr. Kevin Bruckerhoff has been advised of this request and provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector.

This letter contains information collections that are subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). These information collections were approved by the Office of Management and Budget, approval number 3150-0011.
