-. Review of Procedures (73052)

'

All applicable ISI procedures were approved by the Authorized fluclear Inservice Inspector (Atill) and were reviewed by the 11RC inspector. The ultrasonic examination (UT) pulse echo detection instruments and transducers of various angles, sizes, and frequencies were used. The ISI procedures were found to be in accordance with ASitE Section V, 1983 Edition, Summer 1983 Addend Data Review and Evaluation (73755)

-(1) General The examination data was within the criteria as outlined in the applicable llDE procedures and ASitE Code requirements. The NRC inspectors review included examination of documents relative to 11DE equipment, data, and evaluation !f (2) Eddy Current Examinations (ET)

The Zetec MlZ-18A Data Acquisition and the Zetec DDA-4 =

Analysis System was used to conduct the ET. The results were as follows:

The tlRC inspector observed work activ_ities:and had discussions with

personnel during the ISI activities. These observations included-the following:

-(1-) B&W; personnel performing eddy current examinations on many steam generator tube .(2) B&W personnel using the Zetec 111Z-18A Data Acquisition and,the Zetec DDA-4 Analysis Syste (3)' EBASCO personnel performing liquid penetrant examinations'on tile following welds:

(a) Pipe weld #FW-4090, Line #2SIO8JD (b) Pipe weld #J5, Line #2RC02AA (c) Pipe weld #J8, Line #2RC02AA 7b
