- Organizations of PECO Engineering and Research Department and Limerick, No.2 Project were presented. The licensee stated that key contractor personnel are returning to manage construction activities. Manpower build-up is expected to peak'at approximately 2500 manual and.1200 non-manual personnel by late 198 A fifty-one month schedule which targets April,1990 for fuel load and October, 1990 for commercial operation was presente ~

- A " Built-Rite" Program has been agreed to by local trade unions and managemen Quality assurance program is the same as Unit No. I's with a work package concept being employe QA/QC manpower is planned to peak with 23 auditors, 250 inspectors plus 16 contractor QA personnel

Allegation controls include accessible QC inspectors to identify field concerns and use of anonymous termination exit interview Design changes are to be kept at a minimu NRC resident facility location is proposed near the licensee and contractor QA/QC facilitie The licensee responded to NRC Region I and Headquarters representatives questions and comments concerning quality assurance training for crafts, schedule for replacement of equipment transferred to other plants, handling of potential differences between Limerick Units No.1 and 2, handling of tie-ins between the two units, and potential regulatory impact of recent earth quake activity in Ohi The meeting of February 7, 1986 was approximately two hours in duratio Conclusion The licensee discussed plans and programs to support construction of Limerick, Unit 2 on schedule and assuring quality. The licensee requested NRC cooper-ation in prompt review and processing of proposed design changes. Region I commented that the licensee appears to be adequately prepared to resume construction and that increased NRC inspection efforts are planned in the near future.
