Dear Mr. Heacock:

On July 23, 2013, the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued the subject inspection report for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2 (ML13204A292). In reviewing this report, we identified an administrative error regarding the cover letter distribution date. Specifically, on the cover letter, the distribution date July 23, 2013 should be July 29, 2013. A revised cover letter to reflect the actual July 29, 2013, distribution date is enclosed. Please replace the affected cover letter for the above subject with the one enclosed.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and your response, if any, will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).

I apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused. If you have any questions about this matter please contact me at 404-997-4551.

Sincerely,

/RA/

Dear Mr. Heacock:

On June 30, 2013, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at your North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2. The enclosed integrated inspection report documents the inspection findings which were discussed on July 29, 2013, with Mr. G. Bischof and other members of your staff.

The inspection examined activities conducted under your licenses as they related to safety and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your licenses. The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel.

No NRC-identified or self-revealing findings were identified during this inspection. However, two licensee-identified violations, which were determined to be of very low safety significance, are listed in this report. The NRC is treating these violations as non-cited violations (NCVs)

consistent with Section 2.3.2 of the Enforcement Policy.

If you wish to contest the violations or significance of these NCVs, you should provide a response within 30 days of the date of this inspection report, with the basis for your denial, to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ATTN: Document Control Desk, Washington, DC 20555-001; with copies to the Regional Administrator Region II; the Director, Office of Enforcement, United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, DC 20555-0001; and the NRC Resident Inspector at the North Anna Power Station.

Enclosure In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and your response (if any) will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRCs Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).

Sincerely,

/RA/
