Management Meeting
'
CP&L representatives made a formal presentation of their investigation of the events involving the mispositioned breaker and valves which occurred on
-
March 21 and 25, 1982. Also, the licensee's planned corrective actions,
'
both short term and long term, were stated. NRC representatives sumarized the concerns regarding the events which occurred as a result.of inadequate
.
management controls and personnel errors. A discussion was held _concerning
'i improvements required in operational performance and management controls at
'
Brunswick. Specificially these improvements would address.:
1.
Very strong corporate involvement, 2.
Training, 3.
Procedures update, 4.
Safety audits, and a 5.
Long range improvement program.
NRC also requested another followup meeting in which CP&L would discuss their progress regarding these improvements.
