Areas Inspected: Included a review of the following areas: Locks *, Keys and Combinations; Physical Barriers (Protected and Vital Areas); Security System Power Supply; Assessment Aids; Access Controls (Personnel, Packages and Vehicles); Detection Aids (Protected and Vital Areas); Alarm Stations and - Communications. Also included a followup to previously identified inspector followup items.and an unresolved item.
The inspection involved 36 inspector hours onsite by one NRC region-based inspector.
The inspection was initiated during regular duty hours; 4 inspection hours were performed during offshift periods.
Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC regulations except for the following violation: 1) Locks, Keys and Combinations: Failure to change vital area keys and locks in accordance with Security Plan requirements.
