COOPER NUCLEAR STATION - NRC SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT 05000298/2017403
Dear Mr. Dent:
On September 14, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at the Cooper Nuclear Station, and the NRC inspector discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. D. Buman, Director of Nuclear Safety Assurance, and other members of your staff. The inspector documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection report.
The NRC inspector did not identify any findings or violations of more than minor significance.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding, of the NRC's "Rules of Practice and Procedure," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRCs Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
However, the enclosed report contains Security-Related Information, so the enclosed report will not be made publically available in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1). If you choose to provide a response that contains Security-Related Information, please mark your entire response Security-Related Information - Withhold from Public Disclosure Under10 CFR 2.390
