Specifically, the inspection addressed Management Effectiveness; Security Organization; Security l

Program Audit; Records and Reports; Testing and Maintenance; Physical Barriers -

l Protected and Vital Areas; Lighting; Compensatory Measures; Assessment Aids; l

Access Control - Personnel; Packages and Vehicles; Detection Aids - Protected and Vital Areas; Alarm Stations; Communications; and Safeguards Information.

l The inspectior, also addressed previously identified weaknesses / concerns and a l

review of licensee actions on I.E. Information Notice 85-79, entitled l

" Inadequate Communication Between Maintenance, Operations, and Security l

Personnel." The inspection involved 32 inspector-hours by one NRC inspector.

Backshift inspection activity was also performed during this inspection.

' O Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during the inspection. The previously identified-weaknesses / concerns were closed.

Three open items were identified regarding poor guard morale, required maintenance and some equipment deteriorations.

The licensee's staff agreed to begin addressing the open items immediately.
