Investigation determined that the turbine trip was caused by a failed turbine speed sensor. Corrective maintenance was performed and the unit was returned

2 Mahual Reactor trip during startup due to a loss of Feedwater supply. The event was initiated by a failed intdrnal oil pump in the fluid speed coupling of the A-Condensate Booster Pump, which tripped the A-Main Feed Pump. The failed fluid speed coupling was replaced and the unit returned to service.

SUMMARY
- The unit was shutdown for most hf the reporting period for a planned refueling outage. While starting up from the outage, the plant experienced two plant trips. The first event was an automatic Turbine/Reactor trip caused by failure of the Main Turbine speed sensor. The second event was a manual reactor trip that was initiated due to a loss of the operating Feedwater train. Failure of the A-Condensate Booster Pump tripped the A-Main Feed Pump, resulting in a loss of makeup to the Steam Generators.
