Dear Sir or Madam:

Energy Northwest, operates the Columbia Generating Station (Columbia) inep-endexit Speint Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72.210. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(1)(ii) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Accordingly, Energy Northwest provides the following registration information associated with the HI-STORM 100 spent fuel cask system placed into storage in the Columbia ISFSI on March 11, 2004.
