Dear Sir or Madam:

As part of the BWR Owners' Group (BWROG) resolution of the 10 CFR § 21 reportable conditionissued against the-use-of-a-generic-regional-mode-DIVOM-curve (Referencel), the___--

BWROG informed Energy Northwest in Reference 2 of the NRC staff's request for Option III licensee's schedules for restoring Oscillation Power Range Monitor (OPRM) operability.

In accordance with the recommendation of the BWROG, Energy Northwest plans to use a plant-specific regional mode DIVOM curve to develop OPRM setpoints and restore OPRM operability at Columbia Generating Station. The OPRM will be operable per plant technical specifications following completion of refueling outage R-17 (curretly scheduled for June 2005).
