| Event Description | U/2 HPCI [Unit 2/High Pressure Coolant Injection] was declared inoperable due to leak by of the pump discharge check valve after pump shutdown from flow testing. This resulted in cycling of the minimum flow valve. The discharge valve was closed to prevent the continued cycling of the minimum flow valve. This condition was identified during normal surveillance testing.
The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector. |
