Dear Ms. Veil:

In Reference 1, as supplemented by Reference 2, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) requested an exemption in accordance with 10 CFR 55.11 from the two-year eligibility requirement of 10 CFR 55.47(a)(1 ). Upon further consideration and as discussed with the NRC staff, PG&E hereby withdraws the exemption request.

PG&E makes no new or revised regulatory commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter.
