The purpose of this letter is to document that, effective March 7, 2014, the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP) Simulator complies with ANSI/ANS-3.5-2009, as endorsed by NRC Regulatory Guide 1.149, Nuclear Power Plant Simulator Facilitiesfor Use in OperatorTraining, License Examinations, and Applicant Experience Requirements, Revision 4, April 2011.

From 2001 until March 7, 2014, the BSEP Simulator complied with the ANSI/ANS-3.5-1998 version of the standard, as endorsed by NRC Regulatory Guide 1.149, Revision 3, October 2001.

The Brunswick Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) will be reviewed and revised as necessary. Necessary UFSAR revisions will be made in accordance with 10 CFR 50.71(e).

This document contains no regulatory commitments.
