Fire Brigade License Basis

Description

The inspectors reviewed the license basis history for fire brigade composition, practicals, training, and conduct of drills. The inspectors required additional information to review and assess the licensees current procedures and practices. Description: During the inspection of the fire brigade annual fire drill, the inspectors reviewed past fire drills and noted that in the past two years, only one fire drill was conducted in a SR area. The inspectors also noted that some fire drills were conducted as training sessions and that the annual practical conducted offsite was considered a quarterly drill in the licensees current drill procedure. The inspectors required additional information to review and assess the licensees current procedures and practices, as compared to the facilitys license basis. Therefore, the inspectors opened an unresolved item (URI) because more information is required to determine if there is a performance deficiency
