Dear Sir:

The purpose of this letter is to provide an updated cover page containing the correct NRC Inspection Report number to the correspondence that was submitted ty Florida Power Corporation by letter dated January 19, 2012 (Reference 2).

By letter dated December 20, 2011, the NRC documented a notice of violation that involved the failure to maintain in effect a standard emergency classification scheme which included facility effluent parameters (Reference 1). Associated Enforcement Action EA-1 1-208 required a written reply within 30 days of the date of NRC Inspection Report.

Florida Power Corporation, doing business as Progress Energy Florida, Inc., submitted the Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) required 30-day reply to EA-1 1-208 in Enclosure 1 of Reference 2.

By letter dated January 25, 2012, the NRC provided notification that the Inspection Report Number in Reference 1 was incorrect (Reference 3). The NRC Inspection Report Number should have been 05000302/2011504 instead of 05000302/2011501.

Please replace the cover page of Reference 2 with the enclosed corrected cover page.
