| Title | Inadvertent Siren Actuation |
| Event Description | This is a voluntary report under 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi). Approximately 1544 EST, the new siren system in Westchester County actuated inadvertently during testing. A press release has been issued. There has not been an event related to the health and safety of the public or onsite personnel, or protection of the environment.
The New York Public Utility Commission has been notified. The licensee will notify the NRC Resident Inspector. |
