Re: TS change for 6% fuel to omit section reference Date: Thursday, May 12, 2016 10:43:01 AM The current SAR is not in NUREG 1537 format and currently that information is in Section 1 and 3. We are transitioning to NUREG 1537 format so the information will be relocated to Sections 1 and 4.

By removing the specificity of the location in the SAR it allows the ability to move the information without requesting a license amendment. TS 5.1 conti nues to require it to be in the SAR. Thanks, Andrew On Thu, May 12, 2016 at 10:21 AM, Hardesty, Duane <

a. The reactor fuel shall be UO 2 with a nominal enrichment of 4% or 6% in U-235, zircaloy clad, with fabrication details as described in the Safety Analysis Report.

Why did you take out specific reference to Section 3 of SAR? Duane A. Hardesty Sr. Project Manager - Research & Test Reactors U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission MS O-12D20 Washington, DC 20555 Phone: (301) 415-3724 fax: (301) 415-1032
