Per our previous conversations, NC State requested that the fueled experiment amendment be withdrawn and incorporated into the license renewal application.

It was my understanding that the withdrawal of the amendment request would be indicated in the cover letter for a new safety analysis report (SAR) that would be submitted as a supplement to the application for license renewal. Andrew further indicated that NC State would provide three versions of the SAR; (1) a non-public version (marked for redaction); (2) a public version with redactions applied, and; (3) an MS Word version with tracked changes.

For NRC planning purposes, I request that you reply to this email with the date the above mentioned items will be submitted to the NRC Document Control Desk. I would appreciate your response no later than close of business 12 July 2019.
