Re:/St.Lucie Unit 2 Docket No.50-389 Proposed License Amendment P-T Limits and LTOP Anal sis In accordance with.10 CFR 50.90,, Florida Power 6 Light Company (FPL)submits herewith a request to amend Facility Operating License NPF-16.The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate revised pressure/temperature (P-T)limits and the results of a revised.low temperature overpressure protection (LTOP)analysis into the Technical Specifications for St.Lucie Unit 2.The current St.Lucie Unit 2 Technical Specifications for P-T/LTOP are applicable to 6 effective full power years (EFPY)of operation.

Accordingly, the St.Lucie Unit 2 Technical Specifications require revision prior to the plant reaching 6 EFPY.Revised Technical Specifications pages are provided in Attachment 1.Attachment 2 is the Safety Analysis of the proposed amendment.

Attachment 3 is a"Determination of No Significant Hazards Consideration".

Attachment 4 is a detailed report of the methodology used to calculate the P-T curves and revised LTOP requirements.
