Thanks for the opportunity to provide comments and awareness to the NRC for the permitting request of the TRISO-X facility at Horizon Center Area 6 industrial park in Oak Ridge, TN. Permitting is not only for the assurance of employee and public safety , it also is important for minimizing any damaging environmental impact. What follows are attached pictures of the pristine ecological/environmental landscape within the bordering corridors and surrounding the 110 acre site . Think of the pictures as a means of communicating the environmental values in place of a "thousand words". Much of it evolving & remaining undisturbed for the past 80 years.
If any of your staff will be coning to do additional on site inspection I am happy to go with them and show the surrounding natural landscapes of special significance .
Some of this may already be provided by X-Energy.
