In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.4(b)(6) and 10 CFR 50.71 (e), enclosed for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN), are two compact discs (CD-ROM) that contain Amendmen t 3 of the dual-unit Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR).

In accordance with Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2015-17, "Review and Submission -*

of Updates to Final Safety Analysis Reports, Emergency Preparedness Documents, and Fire Protection Documents," TVA is submitting a redacted copy of Amendmen t 3 UFSAR for NRC Public Use (Enclosure 1) and the Non-Public Use version (Enclosure 2) that contains security related information that should be withheld from public dis_closure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.

October 29, 2020 A brief description and summary of the 10 CFR 50.59 safety evaluations of changes, tests, and experiments, reportable pursuant to *1 O CFR 50.59 Is being submitted under separate cover letter.

Additionally, in accordance with Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 99-04, "Guidelines for Managing NRC Commitment Changes," Enclosure 3 to this letter provides a summary of one regulatory commitment changed since the issuance of Amendment 2 (Reference), that requires NRC notification pursuant to the NEI guidance.
