Dear Mr. Knighton:

Louisiana Power & Light hereby files an application for four amendments to the Waterford 3 Technical Specifications. The amendment;s involve:

1. Introduction of a power reduction curve to be used following a full or part length CEA misalignment (NPF-38-34),

2. The addition of 10 smoke detectors to control room control panels as required by License Condition 2.c.9.d (NPF-38-36),

3. The addition of two penetrations to the containment leakage path list to require leak rate testing under Appendix J to 10CFR50 (NPF-38-35), and

4. The relocation of a seismic monitor and correction of an error in the location of another seismic monitor (NPF-38-37).

LP&L has previously provided a summary of the Technical Specification change requests expected to be submitted prior to the first refueling outage. Attached, for your information, is an updated schedule of the proposed changen. Items 1 and 2, above constitute the Group F changes.

Items 3 and 4 are part of the Group H changes. Also enclosed is LP&L check number 08-5654 for $150.00 to cover the required filing fee.
