FORTHCOMING MEETING TO SOLICIT PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION LICENSE TERMINATION PLAN DATE & TIME: Tuesday, January 13,1998 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm LOCATION: Mohawk Valley Regional High School ?>uditorium Buckland, Massachusetts PURPOSE: The purpose of this informational meeting is to first have the licensee, the Yankee Atomic Electric Company, describe the License Termination Plan and site release criteria for the Yankee Rowe station. The NRC will next discuss the license termination process as prescribed by NRC regulations. The pt.Nic will have an opportunity to question both the licensee and the NRC staff and to provide comments. A detailed agenda is enclosed. The meeting will be transcribed by a court reporter.
