On September 11, 1980, we filed on behalf of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (the Authority) a " Withdrawal of Application" and a " Motion for Termination of Proceeding" (the Motion).

We have received a copy of "NRC Staff's Answer to Motion of Applicant to Withdraw Their Application" in which the NRC Staff does not oppose the Motion.

Since we have not yet received an answer to the Motion by the Intervenors, */ we do not know what issues, if any, they will seek to have determined by this Licensing Board.

Under the current circumstances, we will not unnecessarily burden the Licensing Board by filing objections or a motion for a protective order with respect to such requests,which are irrelevant to the proceeding in its pre-sent posture. We reserve the right, however, to file such objections or motion if any party attempts to pursue or revive such discovery requests.
