2 II. REACTOR UTILI"ATION A. Utilization Sum' .ry Utilization of the NSCR during the reporting period in shown in Figure 1 and Table I. Figure 1 presents reactor operation from January 1962 through December 1978. During the present reporting period the NSCR was used by more than 850 students and 40 facu'ty and staff members representing 22 departmento at Texas A&M University. In addition, more tnan 202 faculty and students from 9 other colleges and universities used the facilities, and 4,084 visitors wer>

registered during 1978, including 14 high school groups.

A total of 22 non-university organizationn Md nrograms tnat were dependent upon the NSCR.
